Here are some pictures from the Butterfly Place in Westford, MA. It's so easy to get caught up in taking pictures. You have to remember to put the camera down from time to time and just enjoy all the butterflies flying around you.

New England was hit with a major ice storm in December this year. While many families were out of power for up to two weeks, we were lucky enough to have ours back the following day. These pictures were taken around the yard the morning after the storm. We did lose one tree, but luckily, it was far enough away from the house that we suffered no damaage.
More pictures taken around the yard this summer.
I discovered an lady slipper growing in the edge of our woods this Spring. In early summer, a snake decided that our junipers made a very nice resting spot.
The crocus is an early blooming flower which is why it's always been one of my favorites. Sometimes they start emerging from the earth when there is still snow on the ground. These pictures show some of my crocus as they sprout and grow into beautiful spring blossoms.
