Once again, we packed up the boys and drove down to Florida. For the first few days, we stayed at Grampa's house. We had sunny, warm weather almost every day which meant we got lots of pool time in and also spent some time at the beach.

When we left Grampa's house, we headed to Orlando where we stayed in a very nice resort ( 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7). When we weren't playing in the pool, we visited Downtown Disney ( 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 ) and went on a helicopter ride( 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 ).
We went to Rob's for Easter this year. The day was warm so the boys were able to play outside in the back yard before hunting for Easter Eggs.

This was Bryson's third Christmas but the first one that he kind of got excited about. Jason had much more fun playing with wrapping paper. I think Bryson has played with Jason's new toys as much as his own. We spent Christmas Eve at Pop's house. It's always great to get together with family.
We spent Christmas day at home with the boys. Bryson stayed in his pajamas most of the day and played and played. He enjoyed all of his gifts but was very excited to see his new train table.

The following day we had a big turkey dinner with the family. Bryson got to join into the tradition of making the famous Pittenger stuffing by pushing the celery through the meat grinder. He was quite impressed. Jason had fun with the cranberry sauce.
Here is a family picture taken on Thanksgiving this year.
We took our summer vacation the first week of August. Rather than travel, we decided to stay home and take the kids to some local attractions.
On Monday we went to Davis Farmland in Sterling MA. Bryson enjoyed seeing the goats and other animals although it took him quite a while before he was willing to actually touch one of them. Other than the animals, the other big attraction is the rather large sprinkler park. Bryson enjoyed running through the puddles but wasn't thrilled with being sprayed with water.

The next day we headed for North Conway. We got in around 3:00 and headed right for the
pool. Bryson
loved swimming in the pool
and playing in the playground. Grampa
and Natalie joined us as well which made the trip extra special.

Wednesday was Storyland day.
Bryson's favorite attractions were the Treehouse Slide
and the Loopy Lab. He also enjoyed driving
the tractors and riding a small
merry-go-round. Jason was a really good sport
about just riding around in the stroller all day.

Back to Rob's for the 4th. Lots of food, family and fun.
We drove out to Rob's house house for Father's Day this year. Before heading out, I snapped a few photos of the boys sitting together on the couch( 2,3). The day was a little wet and rainy but Bryson managed to spend some time outside and had a great time playing ball with scruffy.
This past April, we took the boys for a 25 hours drive to visit Grandpa in Florida for a week. Considering how long the drive was, they handled it pretty well. The weather was fantastic so we were able to enjoy the pool every day. Bryson was a little unsure at first but by the end of the week he was jumping right in.

Another day, Grampa took us for a ride on his boat. Bryson loved sitting next to Grandpa.
The trip wouldn't have been complete without a trip to the beach. Bryson loved playing in the sand, the water and at the playground.

By Christmas this year, I was down to my last month of pregnancy. We spent Christmas Eve at Pop's house with my family and then enjoyed a quiet Christmas day at home.
I guess all my hours of studying are paying off after all. On May 23rd, I was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa, the National Honors Society for two year colleges. Brian and I attended the ceremony at the MCC campus in Bedford.
A Mother's Day brunch was held at our house this year. It was a beautiful day, so after brunch we all went outside and enjoyed the nice weather.
